One of the standout elements at Mama Mia is undoubtedly the food. The menu celebrates classic Italian favorites, from tantalizing pizzas to hearty pasta and fresh seafood dishes. Diners rave about the ravioli with Gorgonzola and ricotta, generously tossed in a creamy girolles sauce. Rich Deerdog, a satisfied guest, described it as a "beautiful and tasty dish," bursting with flavors and perfectly portioned. Such praises echo the kitchen's commitment to quality and taste.
For those seeking variety, the restaurant offers numerous vegetarian options that cater to different dietary preferences, as noted by patrons like Smitha S. The pizza creations are equally impressive, offering a delicious twist on traditional recipes. And don’t skip dessert; the tiramisu beckons with promises of sweetness to close your meal on a high note.

Visiting Dortmund for a few days for work - this lovely restaurant, outside of the main tourist areas, was suggested by local colleagues. Restaurant is large, with a nice open terrace and indoor areas. We were offered choice of terrace or indoors and chose the former. Lovely convivial atmosphere - very popular place. Service was excellent throughout, with multi-lingual staff and menus available. The beer was a local Pils - Kronen I think - decent beer and plentiful. Good to see. Food was a classic mix of Italian dishes, with pizza, pasta and meat/fish on offer. Bread for the table provided - a good sign. Opted for ravioli with Gorgonzola and ricotta with walnuts in a creamy sauce either girolles. What a beautiful and tasty dish this was - a great size portion and bursting with flavour. Very good. I would have this again. The pizzas also looked good and I spotted tiramisu; although didn’t have a dessert this time. The restaurant was next to a train line, but you barely noticed it. It also has a car park, which is convenient if driving. Overall, an excellent meal - I would certainly eat here again.

Nice place, great food and very friendly staff. Better to make a reservation, especially on weekend time. For disabled people is not so good because of the stairs to the ground.

Charming, cozy vibe and the warm welcome from the staff. It's spacious, with planty of seating. Navigating our dietary needs here was a breeze, thanks to the staff's spot-on recommendations. Their gluten-free pizzas looked tempting, but as a celiac, I had to pass because of the shared oven situation. However, their gluten-free pasta was a good alternative with planty of flavors (with or without meat) to choose from. For dessert we were surprised with a gluten-free Panna Cotta. Absolutely delicious. Can say this place saved my experience in Dortmund. Definitely gets my thumbs up.
